Ok were do I start first. I've decided I should possibly break it down into several categories if your looking to go to a Saints game. Stadium: 2.5 out of 5 This is honestly a fairly nice arena, well as far as what the old hockey team in this city had. It's got brand new equipment and fresh paint which may look nice now but as time takes a toll you wonder how much upkeep this arena will get. It seems there is no bad seat in the house, so considering a 9-15 dollar price range it really makes you wonder why pay more for a view of half the ice for $15 dollars when your simply going to get stuck behind the penalty box or bench. save your money and sit in a difference area. Oh and the suites, that's a joke it's simply a concreate room with a tv and some tables, nothing special about it. Concessions. 2 out of 5 I simply gave this a 2 instead of a 1 because to be fair I never got anything so I can't fully judge it. Every time I went to purchase something it was sold out. It seemed the supply and demand of this department really needs some new employees because this is a major fail if you can't supply customers adaquently. Game: 3 out of 5 The team it's self seemed to fail at some steps but all in all the game ended 1-0 in a shootout. Both exciting and boring. It's nice to not see a major blow out in the first and then a blood bath of cheap shots for 40 min like they had with the Thunderbirds but it's still just seemed like no action was happening the majority of the game. At the very least the PA could keep the excitement level up with some chants. Fans 0 of 5. If I could seriously give this a lower score I would. These fans have got to be the most ignorant fans in hockey. Classless to the core and shouting obsenities and idiotic drunk comments every 5 mins. Some fans where screaming about how players should fight and others making rude obscene comments to the ref about calls that where 100 percent correct. The woman 7 rows up from me would not stop yelling "get some glasses ref" even though the play consisted nothing of the ref's doing. A puck simply got blocked. I actually heard one fan cussing and screaming at the away team goalie before the puck drop. The whole crowd would chant "bull Sh*t" or "you suck" to the other team. And every 5 min I felt the need to explain the rules to fans because they would get angry at the must unusual times. If you have small children this is not the place to take them. Parking 1-5 Simple and easy to get into the parking lot but with a lack of anyone in the parking lot to guide traffic out it's plain madness. No reason a parking lot of only about 800 cars should take nearly 40 min to get out of a parking lot. It was stupidity and a failure to work together that caused mayham and arguments in the parking lot. Overall I found the players to be repectable and fun. How ever I'd find my self searching for a new place to watch the game.
