We are a women's derby league located in the state of Iowa. We are a group of women who absolutely love to play Roller Derby! Roller Derby is the fastest growing sport currently in the United States and Iowa alone has 10 teams tearing up the derby track currently. Today's game of roller derby is unlike the roller derby that was shown on the TV in the 70's. The sport today is compiled of real athletes and real derby bouts(games). Roller Derby is fun for women of all ages/sizes and allows women to make bonds with other women, be athletic and powerful and take part in community outreach and volunteer opportunities.
The ladies that belong to this league could be your child's teacher, your accountant, your florist or maybe even the neighbor next door.
