Been going to R since Dj Jevity made his debut there. They have an amazing atmosphere and great bartenders. If you are looking for something that no one else is Dubuque is doing, GO HERE! DJ Jevity lays it down every thursday and saturday night, and no he is not going to play the cupid shuffle. He is here to expose the tsa to something better. They offer great drink specials and always have something to do every night of the week.

R is the most current bar in Dubuque, they have a big city sound in a smaller place like this. If you love house music, partying and having fun its the place to be! If you a bunch of dudes to stand against a wall and watch some girls dance to rap music maybe this is not the place for you.

Great atmosphere but the music was horrible. Reminded me of a rave that i went to when i was 16! It was really slow but the drinks were tasty! :)
